Master Grade Figurerise Son Goku
The strangest product from Bandai this year is definitely the MG Figurerise Dragon Ball’s Son Goku—one of the very few product from the series that is based off an “organic” character, as they are usually depicting mechanical characters (Gundams in particular). At a 1/8 scale with a height of around 23 cm, this Son Goku model boasts multiple joints all across the body, allowing it to perform a wide variety of poses.
This extremely detailed and ultra-realistic depiction of Son Goku was released in December 2009, in conjunction with the airing of the revised version of the hit anime/manga series, Dragonball Kai. Are more Dragonball figures coming soon? Very likely, though only time will tell.
Among the notable features include changeable facial expressions and hand gesture, flexible gi for extra shoulder-joint flexibility and articulation of many joints, such as the neck, ankles, waist and others that when combined provide almost unrivalled poseability. Definitely something for all the Dragonball fans to look out for!
Height Around 220mm
